Mid Century Kitchen Remodel
A dreamy top-to-bottom kitchen update
Beautiful MCM kitchen remodel
This mid-century kitchen was outdated and non-functional with a clunky layout, and insufficient storage and countertop space. It was dark, dingy, and didn’t match the vibe of the rest of their home.
Our clients came to us looking for a kitchen remodel to better fit their lives and integrate with the mid-century modern style of the rest of their home.
We got to work and completely redesigned the kitchen with an updated layout, flow, and look:
- Opening up an entire wall to the dining room and entry.
- Selected a modern “crescent” teal tile from Pratt & Larson to add personality and brighten up space.
- Added a new dark teal door in MCM style to compliment the amazing new tile color.
- Added a small eating bar with outdoor views.
- Added low-maintenance walnut lower cabinets with white uppers for interest.
- Reconfigured windows to tie into the home’s roofline and MCM style.
- Added LED track lighting and white globe lighting from Schoolhouse Electric for function and beauty and refurbished existing beams to match the family room style.
With better lighting, improved functionality, storage, and modern updates, our clients now enjoy a completely upgraded kitchen that feels and looks like the rest of their home.
