SW Portland Cosmetic Remodel
Transitional Cottage
Our homeowners wanted a cosmetic remodel in their kitchen and family room to stay within budget, so we focused on interesting textures, color for interest and simple, timeless lines with a neutral color palette for the furnishings and larger permanent pieces.
Since they love to cook and entertain, we created a new larger “furniture” piece for the island. The soft grey/blue Arabesque tile backsplash, Quartz countertop, and new cabinet hardware add an instant updated look to the kitchen. The French inspired mini chandelier and refinished antique pedestal table made the nook much cozier for small meals and coffee.
This fresh, cozy livable space reflects our client’s personality to a tee. These spaces now function much better together and are magazine worthy to boot. They have family and friends over often and are very happy that the remodel came in significantly lower than a full blown remodel.
